Welcome to the World’s First Virtual Lego Walking Event!
A Unique Way to Raise Funds for Charity – From the Comfort of Your Home
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, it was clear that charities still needed to raise vital funds to continue their incredible work. As in-person events were no longer possible, the team at UK Firewalk decided to innovate and create something completely unique: Virtual Lego Walking.
This ground breaking event allowed participants to walk barefoot on a path made entirely of Lego bricks – virtually! It brought together the spirit of community, creativity, and fundraising in a fun and safe way, all while supporting charitable causes.
Why Virtual Lego Walking?
The idea for Virtual Lego Walking came out of necessity during the pandemic, when traditional fundraising events were on hold. However, the concept quickly became a hit for several reasons:
Inclusive: Anyone, from anywhere, can take part – all you need is a safe space, some Lego bricks, and the willingness to support a cause you care about.
Challenging yet Fun: Walking on Lego bricks is known to be tough (and entertaining!), and it's the perfect way to challenge yourself, create lasting memories, and raise awareness for important causes.
Flexible: The event can be done at your convenience, and you can choose your charity, making the experience truly personal.
